INTERNATIONAL RECORD RETENTION dot com EXPERIENCE

International Record Retention dot com is led by Rod Wallace, a veteran record retention research professional with an extensive portfolio of research projects.

Rod Wallace has been a practitioner and consultant in Records and Information Management since 1978.  Corporate assignments as Records Manager and Systems Analyst prepared him for a consulting career, founding his own practice in 1990.

In this capacity, he participated in retention schedule development for over 100 organizations, some of which are among the Fortune 500.  Since 1995 he has been building a library of multinational comparative law representing more than 132 jurisdictions on record retention.  Most project work in this period was as a subcontractor through law firms or other management consulting groups.  In 2008 he formed International Record Retention dot com and is working independently to help put clients on the right path to compliancy all over the world.

With co-author David Stephens, the first edition of Electronic Record Retention was published by the Association of Records Managers and Administrators in 1997, with a second edition published in 2003.  Wallace is a graduate of Saint Louis University and holder of a Masters of Business Administration from Lindenwood College.

He and his wife, Jane, live in St. Louis.  They have two daughters.
